Why Poland. Capturing the opportunity in the era of shift from globalization to regionalization
For more than 30 years Poland has been an attractive market for foreign investors who appreciate the country’s openness, geographic location and economic stability. The country is one of the biggest recipients of greenfield investments in the region, as well as a destination for numerous M&A transactions made by foreign entities. Recent global events have destabilized international trade and production, what influenced the shift from globalization to regionalization. Policymakers, economists and business leaders are concerned about shortening of supply chains and decreasing economic prosperity. Poland being centrally positioned in Europe and the European Union has already became a global BPO and Shared Service Center and demonstrated business resilience during COVID-19 pandemics. Can Poland become a regional production and operation hub? What are the practical aspects of investing and doing business in Poland?
